Hey Welcome, I’m Juliane:)

The photographer, creative brain, and occasionally slightly chaotic human behind JPRPhotographyllc.

JPR stands for Juliane Page Richards — my name, my story, and the heart behind everything I’ve built.

Photography has been something I’ve loved for as long as I can remember. I started out taking photos on my phone and daydreaming about the day I’d finally have a “real” camera in my hands.

That dream became a reality when I won a contest and received a grant from The Sunset Project in Alpena Michigan, which gave me the opportunity to officially start my photography business at just 17.

Since then, JPRPhotography has grown into so much more than I ever imagined. I get to photograph weddings, couples, seniors, families, maternity sessions, boudoir, and all of the little seasons of life that deserve to be remembered.

And now, there’s another familiar face behind the scenes. 🤍 My boyfriend has officially joined me as my second shooter, and we’re also dipping our toes into videography! 🎥

For the next few months, we’re offering complimentary wedding videography while he learns, experiments, and builds this new side of JPRPhotography.

When you book with me, I want it to feel less like a photoshoot and more like hanging out with a friend who just happens to have a camera.

I’ll probably make you laugh, give you way too many prompts, chase the good lighting, and tell you to “just ignore the camera” at least a million times.

I’m here for the perfectly imperfect moments, the happy tears, the belly laughs, the messy hair, the stolen glances, the little details, and everything that happens in between.

Because to me, photography has never been just about taking pictures.

It’s about telling your story, making you feel something, and giving you memories you can come back to years from now.
